The below are local and national organisations that can offer further support and advice on sexual assault and rape.

Safe Place – Safe Place is the SARC (Sexual Assault Referral Centre) for the Merseyside area and offers a service to both women and men who have been the victim of sexual violence at any time.  Please click here to access their website.

RASA Merseyside – Rasa Merseyside is a specialist service for anyone who has experienced sexual violence at any time in their life.  The offer advice and support, independent advocacy and counselling among their services.  There is also a helpline number.  Please click here to access their website.

Survivors UK – Is a specialist service for male survivors of sexual violence.  They are based in London but offer remote services and helpline.  You can access their webpages by clicking here

Victim Support – Is a national charity, supporting anyone affected by sexual assault including rape. They operate a specialist phone line and an on-line reporting platform. There is a local office in Merseyside who can arrange a meeting to receive information and emotional support in confidence. You can access their website by clicking here.

Victim Focus - Dr Jessica Taylor runs Victim Focus and offers a free e-learning course on ‘Caring for yourself after sexual violence’ and is available to anyone subjected to sexual violence in childhood or adulthood.  You can access this by clicking here.
